Winamp is a fast and light free media player for Android that lets you enjoy music, video, and streaming radio wherever you go.

With support for most formats (and we do mean most: audiobooks, proprietary audio formats, video, etc.), this app really can do it all. The community has created literally thousands of plugins to extend the app to do everything from light shows at festivals to real-time audio processing, and it’s all free.

One of the best features of Winamp is the ability to customize it to look and feel just the way you want it. Want something in blue? Want to have high-contrast readability on devices with limited color-ranges? You can do that too!

It’s important to note that this app is no longer officially supported by the developer; the community continues to patch and provide updates, however.

Ultimately, despite its flaws, Winamp continues to be an excellent video and music player for Android devices and is definitely worth checking out.
